Indústria 4.0: Características e Potenciais Impactos no Ambiente Interno das Empresas

Resumo

Objetivo: Analisar os elementos estruturantes da Indústria 4.0 e refletir sobre os seus potenciais impactos no ambiente de negócios e no ambiente interno das empresas de manufatura utilizando como base a abordagem dos subsistemas organizacionais proposto por Guerreiro (1989).

Metodologia: Este trabalho caracteriza-se como bibliográfico e descritivo, pauta-se nas características da Indústria 4.0. e nas implicações para o ambiente interno das organizações a partir de evidências de estudos anteriores.

Resultados: Está em curso a quarta revolução industrial, que começou no início do terceiro milênio com o advento da Internet e que tem provocado mudanças nas formas de produção e nos modelos de negócios das empresas. O estudo discute diferentes tipos de tecnologias que afetam cada um dos subsistemas como: Subsistema institucional (crenças e valores da indústria 4.0), Subsistema Social (competências digitais e de automação, liderança mediada por realidade virtual e aumentada), Subsistema Organizacional (integração de cadeia de valor, estruturas complexas e autônomas), Subsistema de Gestão (processo decisório de máquina, inteligência artificial), Subsistema de Informações (big data, sistemas autônomos, computação na nuvem), Subsistema Físico-Operacional (novos insumos físicos, biológicos e digitais, novas tecnologias produtivas como robôs autônomos, Automação de Processos, Sistema Integrado Máquina a Máquina e impressão 3D).

Contribuições: A principal contribuição deste trabalho é a análise dos elementos da Indústria 4.0, bem como a avaliação do impacto dessa revolução tecnológica e de negócios, nos diversos subsistemas empresariais. Complementarmente, do ponto de vista acadêmico, este trabalho pode se constituir em uma plataforma conceitual sobre o tema para orientar futuros estudos empíricos.
